Is your blog running on a dedicated IP address or shared IP address? Some say that having a dedicated IP address is better in the search engines. If you’re on a shared IP address and one of the site gets banned from search engines then your website can also be impacted by this event. Top bloggers from around the world all have transferred their blog sites to a dedicated IP address and I’m also looking into switching very soon. A dedicated IP address also runs more software on your server which in turns less error when uploading plugins. I think that having a shared IP address have a great effect on search results on Google.
