New York Yankees CC Sabathia
The New York Yankees are going back to the World Series since 2003, they will be playing the 2008 World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies. Their game one one pitcher will be none other than ALCS MVP, New York Yankees CC Sabathia.
CC Sabathia pitched two unbelievable games in the American League Championship series against the Los Angeles Angels with two overpowering game. The Yankees hope to start CC Sabathia in three games in the World Series contest with Philadelphia Phillies. The Yankees paid a lot of money to get CC Sabathia in pint strip. Now the Yankees number starter, CC Sabathia will take the Yankees to their world series appearance since the early part of 2000’s. Will this be the year for the Yankees? We will find out, the first game is this Wednesday in Philadelphia.
CC has one of the best command and control in baseball. He have a 19-8 record this season with 197 strikeouts. He only gave up 67 walks and an era of 3.37. He was drafted first round (20th Pick) in the 1998 by the Cleeveland Indians, and he almost got to the world series in 2007 when he was playing with the Indians, but came out short.
