Gas prices are on the rise again

Couple of weeks ago, gas prices were around $2.80 per gallon, now it’s back to about $3.00 per gallon and it looks like gas prices are on the rise again. Consumers have no way around it, people needs to go to places and cars need gas to take them there. What can we as drivers and consumers do? well maybe it’s time to buy a Hybrid Car or start taking the bus.

I remember when gas prices were about $1 a gallon back in the late 90’s, but those days are gone. Gas prices will continue to go up and we as drivers need to rely on different methods. Sooner or later Hybrid Cars will dominate the roads and highways, but those are years and years away. For the past month or so, instead of driving to school, I walked to school now or take my bike, sometimes take the bus. This method saves me about hundred dollars per month on gas. Another method is car pooling, it’s been around for a long time, but not that many people take advantage of it. People rather drive by themselves, instead of carpooling with others.

So instead of driving alone, car pool with someone and saves you money on gas. Take the bus once in a while, America have the best city transportations in the world. Walk or take a bike to school or work you don’t have to do it all the time, but once in while does help in saving you money.
